No wednesday whatevers...but i do have some dirt...

Daily Dirt

Opposites attract… (part II)
Wednesday, February 25, 2004

1. What happen when you wake up one morning and realized you've switched gender?

~ um... i'd probably think it was cool I'd try to figure out everything that makes me feel good as a man and remember it...for when i turn back.

2. Would you tell anyone?

~ um, close friends. they'll probably wonder why this sexy dude keep answering to the name Sway.

3. How do you think that had happened?
~ Magic of course... :)

4. Would you do something about it or let it be?

~ it would be wonderful to be a guy for experimental and information purposes...but I'd definitely wanna turn back into miss diva princess!!

5. Will you still be yourself or change your personality completely?

~ dunno. probably be somewhere in the middle. i'd change the "girly" things about me. I can't stand guys who "primp" more than i do....so if i was a guy. I would spend less time in the mirror and more time burping, scratching, and being non-chalant. lol

Daily Dirt

Opposites attract… (part I)
Tuesday, February 24, 2004
1. What is it you think is so special about the opposite sex?

~ Well I don't necessarily think that they are any More special than my sex... it's just that I am more physically attracted to men than women. Why? Um. I dunno. Genetics maybe...culture and upbringing....

2. What have you always been very curious about with them?

~ ahh. why are they so freakin different? why don't we all see dating the same? How come being with 100 girls one time is better than being with 1 girl 100 times? Why don't you wanna talk? What's wrong with being emotional? Why is it okay for you to wear nasty, dirty, wholey, socks and boxers to bed but I have to be in some VS lingerie? How come? Huh? huh? huh?

3. Do you want to trade lives with them?

~ NO!! Girls rule!!!

4. How much similar are you to the opposite sex?

~hmmm. i think i can relate to a lot of things dealing with men... as long as it isn't on a relationship level. I LOVE football and i don't believe any other conversations should go on when the game's on. Video games are fun. Cars are cool...and boxers are comfortable. (lol)

5. What's the one thing you find unbearable about them?

~ as stated earlier... "their dating philosophy"....uuugggghhhh.

Memories
Friday, February 20, 2004

1. Earliest childhood memory

~ um... brushing my teeth with an electric toothbrush. ha. u can tell i really was fixated on becoming a dentist. dang...learn something new everyday. i couldn't have been no more than 3 or 4...yet i remember standing in the bathroom next to my mom with my blue electric toothbrush and no toothpaste...mimicking my mother. ahhh. good times.

2. Worst memory

~ I'm not sure which stalker memory is the worst, but i would say that one of those is at the top of my list.

3. Embarassing memory

~ um...um.. falling off the stage at my 9th grade symphonic band christmas concert. I was first seat clarinet and sat the closest to the edge of the stage...but before it started, I fell in front of parents and friends. Hmmmmm talking about embarrassing....

4. Romantic memory

~ hmmm... valentines '02. My fiance spontaneously decided that we should go to Jeykll Island in to spend the weekend. So, we pack and drive down there...and we are just happy, and singing michael jackson songs...and loving on each other. We get down there not knowing that there happens to be a TEACHER'S CONVENTION so there's no rooms available on the entire strip!! So, we drive down to Fernidina Beach Fla and lodge there for the weekend...and we went to the beach and "enjoyed" each other's company. It wasn't the most ideal weekend, but it counts for a llot b/c it's one of the fondest memories i have....

5. Grossest memory

~ Finding a fully cooked cricket in my lo mein in '00. Or....hmmm finding a dead but uncooked cockroach in my boyfriend's taco bell pizza in '97. Don't know which one was the most disgusting.

Friday, February 20, 2004

When was the last time you...

1. ...went to the doctor?

~ Monday

2. ...went to the dentist?

~ November... man, thanks for reminding me... it's about that time again. Yeah!!

Daily Dirt and Unconscious Mutterings

Let's get married…
Thursday, February 19, 2004

1. Marry at young age or later?

~ Hmmmm. Well.... I personally don't think there's a specific AGE for marriage. I think it has to do with individual as well as the couple's maturity and experiences. Being that I was engaged at 20 and was going in it with my eyes wide open, I do say that it could be done...however, I would have missed out on a lot of experiences (some good and some I wouldn't have mind missing!!) that I wouldn't have had if I was married now. I am glad that we didn't get married b/c our marriage would have been deeply troubled due to the emotional scars i already had from our 4 years of dating. However, if I were to find the right one..even at that tender age of 20, I think that it could work. I mean, I know just as many old folks getting married and divorced as young...so I really think it has to do with something deeper than physical age....even though that may play a small part in the grande scheme of things.

2. Marry someone younger or older?

~ For me... Older. Definitely Older.

3. Big or small wedding?

~ depends on who i marry. i'd personally like a wedding somewhere in the middle... but if he has a huge family or lots of friends/associates...then it could get big...

4. Honeymoon or no honeymoon?

~ What tha ?? I couldn't fathom having no honeymoon. That's the best part!! Okay maybe not the BEST but it runs a close second.

5. Kids or no kids?

~ Kids.... ahhh. One day. One day. Way, way, way after marriage though. I want to enjoy my husband before babies come into the picture. I actually like walking around naked and sleeping through saturday mornings and being able to go to daytona for a weekend on a whim. Ya know?

Unconscious Mutterings

Wednesday Whatevers and Daily Dirt...

Wednesday Whatevers

February 18, 2003

1. How did you find out about the facts of life?

~ I don't think there was one thing that taught me about the facts of life...instead a mixture of being taught by parents, teachers and mentors...and life experiences...some of my own, some from others.

2. What, other than love, makes the world go round?

~ Money.

3. What is your favorite shape?

~ Hmmm. I've never thought about a favorite shape... I would say...a cone/funnel shape. B/C I like the idea of focus it suggests. Starting big and narrowing towards the end....

Daily Dirt
Public exposure… (part II)
Wednesday, February 18, 2004

1. Do you talk to your friends while you're doing it?

~ Hahaha. Um, no. If I gotta do #1, then I'll put them on hold...or mute...or something. But I'd have to feel super comfortable to just pee on the phone while talking to you. The only person I've ever felt that comfortable with was my ex-fiance. And even then, I'd run some water to offset the loud toilet effects. lol And I have never done a #2 on the phone. Just isn't happening...sorry.

2. Do you talk to your friends while they're doing it?

~ Oh yeah do they ever!! I am like...the ONE to call if you wanna talk and excrete bodily fluids! (lol) I have an ex boyfriend that calls me to this day when he has to go...and he's married! (lol) The relationship we had was a weird one...but he wouldn't use it unless I was physically there ...IN the bathroom with him (for #2). Now that he's married he has to call me instead. My cousin is like that too. She calls me and talks to me when she uses the restroom. She says it soothes her... hahaha. Go figure. I know really interesting ppl. :)

3. Would you rather go alone?

~ YES. Very much so!! I need my concentration and peace!! :)

4. What's the most embarassing thing ever happened to you in there?

~Ahhh.... falling in the toilet in the wee hours of the morning when spending the night with a significant other... who NEVER lets the seat down. (lol) Hey, I've learned my lesson. I look now!

5. Invent/Design your very own imaginary/dream toilet...

~ one with a soft cushiony back like a pillow so that I can rest on it without it being super cold and hard. one with a leg rest so I can prop up and chill if i just feel like sitting there for a while...which i do. black with gold accessories...ahhh what a beau.

Tuesday, February 17, 2004

Daily Dirt....man, I missed a bunch...

Public exposure… (part I)
Tuesday, February 17, 2004

1. Have you had any problem going to public toilet?

~ NO.... Mainly because I don't go. Unless I'm in a "tightie" and I'll just stoop over the toilet... but NEVER EVER sit!! Uuuugggghhh.

2. Are you very picky about which cubicle to use?

~ ah... yeah, i guess. I gotta go to the cleanest one. and usually it's not the first one...since everyone usually just go to the first one if it's available...

3. In a shopping mall, have you already had a favourite toilet in mind?

~ Ah...no. It's not THAT deep... lol

4. What happen when there's no paper or halfway thru there's not enough paper?

~ okay, maybe i'm weird or anal or something...but honestly, I check that kind of stuff BEFORE I "go". I mean, it happened once when I was really young and I was so embarrassed b/c I didn't know what to do. I ended up crawling under the "cubicle to the next one and getting tissue from there. It was gross....and a lesson was learned.

5. What do you do to entertain yourself in there?

~Keeping my balance is the only entertainment i need. lol Hey, it takes skills to hold your pants, panties, shirt, etc. while squatting and aiming and maintaining your balance in stiletto's.

Small, Medium, Large or…
Monday, February 16, 2004
Just tell your preferred size for…

1. French fries.
~~ small

2. T-shirt.

~~ LARGE

3. Undies.

~~small. "gramma draws" are out!!

4. Pizza.

~~ medium.

5. Condoms.

~~ hmmm. now do I REALLY have to answer that?? ;)

Funny valentine...
Saturday, February 14, 2004

1. What do you want most for a valentine day gift?

i would have loooovveeed to have had a wonderful romantic dinner underneath the moonlit sky followed by a slow dance all with my handsome, charming witty, romantic, loving boyfriend. Unfortunately what I got was a "hey let's go to the movies...oh wait, I'm sorry i can't b/c my stupid friend from detroit is here and i have to entertain him but we'll do valentines next friday okay...?" from the guy I'm talking to. Talking about a let down. hmph.

2. Where or what would be the perfect setting?

~ okay... i just answered this one too...

3. Are you happy and very in love with your significant other?

~ i am happy...but not in love. we've only been "talking since december, and honestly, we haven't even made anything "official", so I am not actually trying to be all head over heels in love yet. However, I can tell that he is someone I could easily fall in love with! He's really a great guy and I do like him a lot!

4. What is the worst thing that could spoil you Valentine's day?

~the one thing that actually did. not really getting to spend time with my date... :(

5. If there is a chance for 1 wish to come true on Valentine's day, what would you wish for?

~ i've always been a bit of a romantic.... i guess no matter how generic and textbook valentines day proposals are....i've always wanted one...so my wish on one special valentines day, my special guy will propose to me. Ahhh...sigh...one day!!

6. How do you feel when you walk around town and all you see are couples carrying teddies and red roses?

~ I'll be honest. I felt like a hater this valentines day. I was so bitter. I don't know why. I hated feeling jealous of all my friends who are in committed relationships and who had a "cinderella" valentines day. I mean, I wanted to cry sunday when they were talking about what happened the night before. I had nothing to share...but i didn't want to hate, and I definitely didn't want their pity. I felt bad. Bad for me... and bad becuase I was so bitter, and bad because I was mad at them for being so darn happy and inconsiderate of how I felt while they rubbed it all in my face, yet mad because when they did try to not be so blunt, I felt like they were pittying me. I hated feeling how I felt. That's what got me the most. I've never been jealous of anyone before, so this was so new to me and I want it to be the LAST time I ever feel that way again.

4. If you can be with anyone on Valentine's day, who would it be?

~ Hmmm. At this point in my life...it would have to be Anthony. He's the only one I'm talking to right now....and the only one I'm feelin...so it'd be him.

5. Is Feb 14 a good date for Valentine's day?

~ It's as good as any other day. Why not 2/14?

Back in the swing of things!

Well, well, well. I'm back to work from my long weekend. I am so happy I had yesterday off! I was able to get a lot done!! Aren't you excited for me? Anyway, I'm gonna do my Sunday Brunch today.... ready? Aight....here goes...

Sunday, February 15
Bed and Breakfast

1. Are you a morning person or night owl?

~ Hmm. Night owl.... even though lately, my friends have been calling me "grandma" because I have a self-imposed bedtime of 10:15! Yeah, I know. It's early right!!?? Well, I make myself go to bed that early now because I really AM a night owl and really NOT a morning person!! Confused yet? Okay. See, I love to stay up and stay out late. Heck, I used to work the graveyard shift in school. 8pm to 8am....so the night was my friend. What happened is that I started to love being up at that time and it caused a conflict once I got a 8-5 and needed my rest! Going to bed every night at 4 and getting up at 6 just wasn't working for me. I am grouchy if I don't get my sleep. So what I have found is that I must wake up late if I stay up late...and unfortunately for me, I must go to sleep early if I must wake up early. Thus my 10:15 rule. Yeah it sucks...but at least the extra rest makes my early mornings more bearable.

2. What is the last thing you do before bed?

~ Pray
and
~Sometimes I reflect on the day or think about the next day.

3. What time do you usually wake up?

~ 6am on Weekdays.
~ 8am or 12pm on Saturdays depending on whether I have dance/choir practice or not.
~7am on Sundays

4. Do you eat breakfast regularly?

~Yup, now I do. Up until college, eating breakfast made me sick. Literally. I'd eat something, and throw it up...or feel so bad I want to throw up. But I don't now... once I got to college...it stopped. And now, I eat breakfast all most everyday during the week. Never on the weekends though... don't know why? hmmm.

5. What is your favorite breakfast food?

~Hmmmm. I have to say...cereal. I can't make it any more specific because i eat my cereal according to my mood. I love all kinds of cereal....so I have a lot to choose from. It's fast, filling, and fun to crunch on!!

Friday, February 13, 2004

Okay....Okay... I lied!!!

I said that my last post was it for the day, but I went to Daily Dirt and couldn't resist!!

Tuning in...

Name a song which…
1. describes how you're feeling right now.

~~ Um...Um... that song... "Funny-how-time-flies-when-you're-hav-ing-fun..." is that Janet Jackson?? I don't know..
but I'm feeling that. Work is Great today! I've done nothing but eat up all the sweets my co-workers bought/made and run my mouth!! Yeah....Friday!!

2. tells your lifestory.

~~I'm every woman- Shaka Khan or Whitney Houston...whichever

3. enables you to work/study/think better.

~~anything by Bach and Mozart

4. makes you wanna kill yourself/someone (other than the artist).

~~ I dont know. I never listen to songs like that. I'd just change the station and start jammin to something else!!

5. you wanna hear while making sweet lovin'.

~~Moments in love- by art of noise (the frank ski morning show was talking about this song today...and they are right. this track is da BOMB!!)

It's the weekend baby!!!!!!

Friday Five

1. Are you superstitious? and 2. What extremes have you heard of someone going to in the name of superstition? ( i figured i'd answer them both)

~ Moi? Nope. I think it's funny when people really do believe in it though. Like my mother. Well even moreso...my mother's side of the family. Now, they are all some very superstitious people. I mean, sometimes I do things just to piss them off and send them in a frenzy. Like I'll split a pole and act like I didnt know. It is so amazing how they will ALL stop, and walk back to the pole, go the way I went and continue like what they did wasn't completely crazy!! (LOL) I don't understand how one can be a christian and superstitious. Okay, just here me out. (feeling a riot coming on..)

Does the Bible say anthing about 7 years bad luck for breaking a mirror? How about spitting on a broom if you touch someones feet with it? No...so why do we believe it. If it was really that serious, don't you think it would be referenced in the Bible?

Okay... even without the Christian/Bible/Superstition element... in the natural these things are just....silly!! Let's just look at how incredible crazy some of these things sound!!

SUPERSTION: No washing /drying/ironing on New Year's Day.
REASON: You'll wash/dry/iron someone out of the family.
WHAT TO DO: Don't know... I guess if you wash, they die. (lol)

SUPERSTITION: Don't point at the stars.
REASON: You'll get a star in your eyes.
WHAT TO DO: You gotta bite your finger if you point at one.

SUPERSTITION: Don't step over a person.
REASON: You'll stunt their growth.
WHAT TO DO: Jump step back over them and go around them next time.

SUPERSTITION: The pole thing and the broom thing I told you about earlier... ha..

I could go on and on and on....

It's quite humorous.

3. Believer or not, what's your favorite superstition?

I'd have to say my favorite one is...hmmm so many so many... I'd say that my favorite is the one saying that the first person in your house for new years have to be a man. (Of course my mother's a strong believer in this one..) Reason being: okay...you ready... okay, the reason is that if a woman comes into the house first, you will have women running all though your house!! Hahahaha....
So what does that say about the man that comes in? Hmmm. Mom, is there something you wanna tell me??

Next to that one is the knocking on wood thing... there's a blog on that already though...so, check it out if ya want.

4. Do you believe in luck? If yes, do yu have a lucky number/article of clothing/ritual?

~ Luck, NO.
~ Blessings and Curses, YES!!

5. Do you believe in astrology? Why or why not?

I believe that astrology is fun to read when you have nothing else to do at work. Sometimes they are seemingly true...sometimes they are seemingly not. I wouldn't live my life based on what astrology says though.... it's really not that deep for me. But I have occassionally looked at it for entertainment purposes and was like, dang, if this darn thing aint the truth!! :)

okay.... i'm out for tha weekend!! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!! *MUAH*

Thursday, February 12, 2004

Remember this....

Okay I was on my way back to work from getting a fish sandwich from burger king today and I was trying to find a station with no commercials on. I mean, B.K. is only 5 min. from the job and I didn't want to spend that time listening to commercials. Anyway, 107.9 was playing Blackberry Molasses... do you remember that? huh? you don't? oh. Okay, well Mista sung that and that other song...um, um... *singing" "Laaadddy, would you mind if I politely kiss you're haaaaannnd, I've been watching you all night and I can't staaannd, to see you all alone like this, giving you an opportunity I can't resist." Now you remember 'em?
Man, it took me down memory lane... I wonder what ever happened to Mista. How do groups come out, make a couple of hot songs, then disappear forever. Like H-town (knockin tha boots)? They had the # one song for like 13 weeks in what... 93? Man, one of them just died right? (RIP) Or what about Perfect Gentleman? Or Shai? Where they at?

I remember when I was in the seventh grade, Darryl called me on the phone one night (whew that was a crazy thing back then since I wasnt allowed to talk to boys-lol) He asked me if I wanted to be in his little singing group. I had known Darryl since first grade and had never heard him sing...so I thought that he was being funny. I said thanks, but no thanks. He asked if I was sure, then offered to sing for me. My stupid behind laughed and said, no Darryl, really, I am good.
A couple of years later, I hear Darryl on the radio singing with his group... "Black Berry Molasses..." I could have fell through the floor right then. I was like, dang, that could have been me?

Moral of the story: Just because a guy has bucked teeth doesnt mean he can't sing. lol
Okay, maybe that wasn't the moral...but hey. I didn't learn much seeing how they are non existent now! ;)

SWAY~ on music

Well.... I usually try to listen to gospel...but there are some songs that I can't seem to shake whenever I hear them. My office is really casual and laid back...mostly b/c all of the Doctors and Psychologist and etc. are always out of the office and on trips! So....my co-workers and the interns we harbor are all young and crazy!! They play V103.3 really loud all day, so I do listen some days instead of putting on my headphones. Well, here are some of my favorites....

"I can't wait" ~ Sleepy Brown feat. Outcast

"Yeah" ~ Usher feat. Lil John and Ludacris

"One call away" ~ Chingy feat. Jason Weaver

"Errbody in da club gettin tipsy" ~ I don't know who sings it.
(all i know is that I hated this song at first...but it grew on me!!)

"Me, Myself, and I" ~ Beyonce

"Sorry for 2004" ~ Rueben Studdard (Big Rube...)

Wednesday Whatevers

this posted super late...but hey... life happens right!!

Wednesday Whatevers

1. What is your greatest weakness? Explain.

~ My greatest weakness....hmmm. What a question. Exposing a general weaknesswould require my to strip all the layers of my multifaceted self...and make myself vulnerable to you...but no, you want the GREATEST weakness. WOW. That's a little deep. Hmmm. I would say that my greatest weakness is not being able to finish/follow through on things that I start. I wouldn't really call it procrastination...even though that's also something I am wonderful at...but it's more like...I lose interest in things quickly. Once I start it, and the trill is gone...I am on to other, more exciting things. It's weird b/c I am not like that in relationships...sometimes I stay in those TOO long and work at it TOO hard. (lol) But in every other aspect of my life, I have committment issues. Hmmm. I wonder where that stems from. I wasn't like that as a child....or was I? My parents did keep me in a plethora of activities going on back then.... Hmmm. it's something worth looking into....

2. What do you avoid at all costs?

Hmmm... Cockroaches...
I will walk on the other side of the street if I see a cockroach. I become super athletic when it comes to them. Suddenly I can run like the wind, jump like a kangaroo, do all kind of ninja tricks to get as far away from them as possible. I become cat woman.... I promise...

3. If you could stop time, what would you do?

Wow, I've never really thought about stopping time. Turning back time yes... but stopping it? Hmmm. What could you do. I mean I when time stops, do everyone else in the world pause too? Or are we all still moving and living, but just not getting any older? I mean, I don't know what I'd do with some stopped time. My favorite tv shows wouldn't come on b/c time has stopped... nothing new would really happen b/c everything has stopped. What could you do except, finish whatever you were doing when time stopped and take a rest. Maybe a long nap or something.... I don't know. That's a hard one...

Random Questions...

1. Do you expect to receive a Valentine’s Day wish from someone special this year?

Well, I am talking to someone right now...but it is all still new...so I dont exactly know how my valentine's day will pan out... but I am kinda expecting him to do a little somthin, somethin...

2. What is the biggest fib you’ve ever put on a resume?

hmmmm. i don't know. i didn't really have to lie... my stats were pretty impressive... well...once i got em professionally done! lol

3. Are you generally optimistic or pessimistic about your financial future in 2004?

optimistic...to tha fullest!! :)

4. Which of the following would you most like to be, and why:
a. A famous artist or entertainer
b. A world class athlete
c. A wealthy business owner
d. An influential politician or community leader

A wealthy business owner. Mainly b/c I'd be able to live comfortably, run my own stuff, and pass something down to my children besides bills and bad habits. I also said this one b/c the rest of the choices just don't fit me at all. "A" takes too much of my privacy away. I would love to be a professional singer, but I can't deal with the constant press and media shaping the way america thinks about me. "B" requires too much working out. I love to keep in shape, but I can't think of one sport i'd want to practice every single day!! And besides, their careers end so fast. In athelete world, 30 is old and 35 is ancient!! "D" would make me a lying, deceitful, cunniving, person....and that's not me....

5. Have you ever engaged in a sexual act (including masturbation) at a place where you worked?

ahhh.. no. But I have walked in on/ and by a few sexual acts done at work though.... people, people...having sex in the bathroom at work is not exciting...it's nasty!! And yes, ppl can hear you when they come in the bathroom no matter how quiet you "think you are"!

6. Do you have any tattoos or piercings? How many and where?

I have 2 piercings in each ear. And that about it...
I'm too scared to get a tat... Pain and I don't mix too well.

7. What did you eat the last time you had a late night hunger craving?

late night hunger craving...hmmm. I usually crave something sweet late at night. Brownies are my favorite!!

8. If either were to come your way today, which would be more welcome; a check for $200 or two hours of hot, sweaty, butt nekkid sex?

hahaha... i'd have to say right now... $200.

Sunday Brunch on Tuesday

I am hardly ever online on Sundays, so I figured I'd answer these questions today...

Most of the time not really big stuff...but needed stuff like toothpaste, gum, deodorant..etc I am an emotional buyer so I try to stay out of the malls....otherwise I'd come out with a bag everytime I go in!!

4. One television commercial says the average American has 14 credit cards... are you average, above average or below average?

~ At age 18- average
~Now- below average

5. If you could take one paycheck and just have fun with it, what would you do?

~ I would probably go to myrtle beach with a friend for a weekend and just blow it on whateva...

Welcome, Welcome

Well, I decided to create another blog since the my other blog seems to already have a direction and theme that these crazy little subjects just don't seem to fit into. So here we are again. Talking about me....
This is so relaxing... to just be able to blog for no reason. Not talk about anything really important or critical. Just chill...and answer whatever questions come my way.

Most of the posts will be either Unconsious mutterings...in which I'll say whatever comes to my mind when I see those words.... or Sunday's Seven ,Wednesday's Whatevers, and Friday Five...which are random questions generated by a website...that helps you get to know me...
actually it kinda helps me get to know me as well...
Well...here we go...
